We really love this place and their shrimp ceviche is truly outstanding! The service is okay but sketcy at time, but the atmosphere and attitudes are warm and friendly and their watermelon margaritas are excellent. The location is convenient.

We stopped by for a very early dinner. The place was nearly empty. Our server was good. I think this is a fairly new place with contemporary decor. The menu selections were varied. While not your typical Mexican fare, it definitely had that style. The salsa for the chips was quite spicy. My grilled salmon was good, as was the flan. Food presentation was good and artful.

One of our go-to places in Tyler. Always a great experience at Humo! Food is fantastic-Mexican with a BBQ flare. Drinks are very good. I have been here for date night and larger groups. Exceptional service every time. Prices are very reasonable as well.

We came here for early dinner after finding this place in yelp! We had no expectations coming in, but left pleasantly surprised! Overall the exterior and interior decor was modern, clean and asthetically pleasing. It had character and not the bland millennial grey. Our server/bartender was incredibly helpful, friendly and authentic. The food was great. We were shocked at how much we enjoyed the seafood fondue!

Finally tried this place out and we loved it. The food is great and not typical as well as aesthetically pleasing. The ambience was classy, nice, and clean. The bathrooms were as nice as Buckees. The staff was good, the manager is incolved and runs a tight ship. The prices were suprisingly fair. We loved it.

I’m not sure why I’ve waited so long to eat at Humo. I tried their food once before. It was shortly after they opened and I honestly enjoyed it then. For some reason, I haven’t been back until now. The ambiance when you walk in is perfect. The entire vibe just makes you feel like you’re in an upscale restaurant, but with a more relaxed atmosphere. For appetizers, we ordered the peruvian ceviche and the tuetano (bone marrow). I’ve never had peruvian ceviche, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try it. I was pleasantly shocked. Same case with the bone marrow. I’ve only seen others eat it before lol. I really liked it, especially when it was paired with all the others flavors. They also bring out chips and salsa. The salsa itself was a bit spicy, but it was so good that I persevered. For my main entree, I ordered the chimichurri lamb chops. They were resting atop some perfectly cooked fingerling potatoes. It also came with a fresh arugula salad with a lime vinaigrette, which I demolished. Although the lamb chops were a bit on the smaller side, they made up for it in flavor, especially with the chimichurri The service was a bit on the slower side, but our waitress did tell us they were a bit understaffed. I think she still did an exceptional job. If you’re looking for some great food in a chill setting, then head over to Humo.

Very surprised by this place. My wife and I visited for the first time for my birthday. We tried a few tacos, the guacamole and tamales. Hands down, best tacos in Tyler and maybe beyond. I would strongly suggest the smoked brisket tacos, you will not be disappointed! Fun up-beat atmosphere and really great service. You will feel like you are in an upscale restaurant without the price tag. 10 out of 10 and we will be back regularly for the tacos.
